Log kyaa kahenge?!

Do you ever feel there's freedom and also there's not? You say to yourself you are the king or queen of your life, you have your own rules but how many of us are taking decisions fearlessly? How many of us are truly following our hearts? I bet at least once in our lives knowingly or unknowingly we would have succumbed to the " Log kya kahengee " factor. We would have stopped doing something because it's against the societal norms, It's against what many people believe. But to me, even if the whole world's against you, you gotta do what you want to - that's it, period.  I wish life would be as simple as it was supposed to be. I mean you like something, just go get it, you want to start something, do it! What's that pulling you? Is it because you doubt your capabilities or is it because you're coaxed by the expectations society has for you? For many of us, I'm sure it's the latter. He's a boy - he can't cook, she's a girl she...

Reminiscing Vasavi

It is 5:30 in the morning and all of a sudden I feel tense, I feel lost, I understand and realize now how my seniors must have felt in their 4th year when they used the hashtag of one last time every time. The truth that there is only 1 week left for us on the campus and the next semester is going to be online makes me all nostalgic and unhappy. It is like the sun setting on everything I know, I must have scolded my faculty a million times, ranted about Vasavi a billion times but now my heart aches that in a blink of time my status in college would change from 1602-18-734-018 to a passed out, alumni. Just like Varun Sandesh asks his principal at the end of Happy Days, ' naalugu ellagaa college naa illu , College naaku em nerpindhi'? I feel the same now and I'm glad I have considerable things on my list:  Meeting people from different backgrounds and perspectives , being able to multitask, explore and discover myself with the help of various clubs in college, submitting ass...

Happy Nurses Day Amma 🤍

Happy Nurses Day Amma! You are a superhero. It's been almost 25 years since you took up this profession and you were always a mother, a mother filling belief, confidence in every patient struggling their battles, a mother protecting, nursing her patients as her own.  The world was shaken by the pandemic but you came forward and menaced your life doing your duty with utmost attention, care. Your commitment, enthusiasm, concern about your work never fail to inspire me. Though I don't say this often, you inspire me a lot, from being independent to finding passion in a profession you are someone I always look up to. This rampant rife challenged you, going to work during this COVID-19 pandemic has placed frontline workers under immense and unprecedented pressure, putting their physical, mental, and social well-being at risk and yet you were selfless and asked us to stay at village till the outbreak of the virus settles so that we wouldn't be affected by it in the city.  During t...

Life is what you make it ✨

Life is all about people and places, memories and lessons, mistakes and corrections, ups and downs, it is indeed a beautiful rollercoaster. Life is always a journey and never a destination. You grow older but not your soul as it is known soul is immortal. The ultimate intention of everyone's life should be happiness , yes people say you have to search for your happiness but sometimes it is okay to stop searching it somewhere else and making yourself happy wherever you exist. Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced  When you sit back and consult yourself about what have you acquired in your life, ask these things to yourself, Are you putting efforts to achieve what you need? Are you endorsing anything to society? Are you spreading joy and happiness to the people around you?  There are three most important things in your life: Career, Personal Life, Social Life. There is this one question many people fail to ask themselves:  Do you have ...

R.I.P Sushant

Dear Sushant Singh Rajput /Anni / Dhoni : You were one hell of a person, so talented!  AIEEE 7 th rank? An amazing actor? A role model? Yes! You were an all-rounder for sure. You were a REAL hero! I just wish you could have talked to people around you, vented your sadness and frustration.  They called you 'LOSER' and you showed them how to win a life. How even impossible can be made possible and how efforts matter more than results. Then why did you do this now Annnii?  As M.S Dhoni you taught us “Life me sab ball ek samaan thode na milega, merit par khelna hai aur tike rehna hai, scoreboard apne aap badhega.” (You will not get the same ball every time in life, hold your ground by playing according to the situation and the scoreboard will take care of itself) then why did you stop your game now? Why did you let the failure or sadness rule over you? 😣.. You told someone's UNTOLD STORY then why couldn't you tell us your story? All the 'CHICCHORE' in this world mis...

Boy's Locker Room,Girl's Downcast

I still remember the first time I uploaded a picture on my facebook account, all my mom kept saying was : it's not safe, people will misuse your pictures.Back then, I thought she was foolish and was just being protective. I thought it was safe, nothing would happen, there was no harm in sharing pictures. But this "Boy's locker room" proved me wrong! It's not the first time girls are being disrespected like this, who knows how many groups like this are still present?, maybe even people around you, boys you trust are upto things like these, yes with all these happening who would actually trust others again, you aren't just having fun doing all these, you are snatching away her freedom, her comfort zone!  Girl's don't have a right to post pictures, sorry they lost their right indeed, every thing they do is publicized, damnn her body is not meant for you to talk, she's something more than her physical appearance, she has a life dude.  How dare you snatc...
